Instruction to make DMo acne solution:
Mix 1/4 tsp citric acid with 1 tsp purified water in a container and stir until citric acid is completely dissolved. Add 5 drops (2.5%) sodium chlorite. Wait 3 minutes. Add 2 Tablespoons purified water. Pour mixture into a 2oz amber bottle (preferably with a sprayer nozzle lid). Label bottle clearly and keep out of reach of children.
To use: Wash affected area. Spray a cotton ball with DMo acne solution and apply to affected area. Apply twice daily. If skin sensitivity occurs, dilute DMo acne solution with additional water. If skin sensitivity continues, discontinue use immediately.
(Another possible contributing factor is diet. Food sensitivities may occasionally result in acne. Does chocolate cause acne? It depends. For those with sensitivities or allergies to chocolate the answer may be yes. Milk and other dairy products may increase the likelihood of acne in persons with sensitivities to those foods. Keeping a food journal may help in determining which foods cause adverse reactions.)
